Joint Forces Deployment Staging Area, FY09 MCON Project P-202, Naval Station,
Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii.
Provide consulting services for this environmentally sensitive project.Conducted the Geotechnical subsurface investigation, designed foundations for light poles, calculated and designed the pavement and subbase thickness, incorporated recycled excavated asphalt pavement and basecourse materials.
Also provided construction inspection and quality control management.

Pupukea Rockfall Investigation and Redesign of Slopes (2005-2006)
City and County of Honolulu
Conducted intensive site investigation as well as performed analysis to evaluate the risk of rock fall.

Landslides (2002-2006)
City and County of Honolulu
Monitored the installed Inclinometers on previously failed slope. Evaluated by conducting several slope stability analysis. Performed several soil tests to evaluate the long-term behavior of slope. Has published three papers on residual shear strength of Landslide soils.

Kalaheo Avenue Sewer Replacement (2003-2005)
City and County of Honolulu
Conducted subsurface site investigation. Worked as site inspector to monitor ground
improvement via jet grout. Conducted several analysis
to evaluate structure damages due to construction excavation as well as damages due to vibrations created during construction activities.

Reconstruction of K-10 and K-12, Pearl Harbor (2002 & 2006):
US Navy & Healy Tibbitts
Inspected and evaluated pre-drilling, drive of piles, evaluated the test performance of pile testing, and the effect of ground improvement via jet grout. Also, evaluated stability of retaining walls as well as slopes. Evaluated extensive ground settlement
to model its effect on utility lines.
